Thanksgiving is popularly known as a time for family members to gather around and spend precious time together watching football, eating a turkey for dinner, and generally just catching up on each other. This is especially significant in the US where kids normally leave home as soon as they start going to college and live on their own after that, often in other states.
However, maybe your family isn't the typical family in the US. Or maybe you just want to switch things up a bit this year. Are there any places where you can celebrate Thanksgiving while enjoying a much-needed holiday?
Fortunately, the answer is a resounding yes and here are only a few of the places you can go to kick back and just soak in the sights. Best of all, you won't need to cook the meals yourselves!

Now, you can enjoy the same stately grandeur but bolstered by modern amenities.
